Kara D. Festa, PE is a professional engineer and the founder/CEO of Kara Diane Coaching & Consulting, a professional services firm focused on supporting women and other underrepresented populations in business and STEM careers. The company’s mission is to create a vibrant global community of leaders, supporting them to thrive in both career and life.
Kara’s approach is focused on supporting the “whole human being” to develop new capacity and resource for business and life. A logical, process-oriented engineer by nature, Kara originally pursued coaching to balance the “engineering side” of her brain with the “people side”. She found a calling, to help her clients develop themselves and their organizations amidst the ever-increasing challenges of our complex and interconnected world.
Prior to coaching and consulting, Kara was in an ownership position at a mid-sized regional engineering and environmental consulting firm, serving as a partner and corporate board member for more than 11 years of her 25-year consulting career. She is currently working with a local construction company, supporting their engineering consulting practice in water and reclamation projects, while building her own firm to support women in business and STEM careers.
